Gym Policies

All students will be charged an anniversary fee.  This fee is charged in June or at the time when your child/children enroll.  This fee is good for one year or until the student drops out of the class.  Individual Fees are $38.00 or $55.00 per family.

We have new health protocols and cleaning procedures in place in the facility.  We will be having our athletes wash their hands in between events in addition to our extra cleaning, equipment care, & precautions.

We do ask that the girls bring their own water bottle every day, as we will be foregoing use of the shared water fountain at the gym until further notice.  We also will not be allowing food inside the gym at this time.  We ask that the athletes eat before or after practice at home.

We will be asking our parents to drop the athletes off at the door, which will be propped open.  At this time we are not allowing parents/caretakers to come in with their athletes.  If your athlete or any member of your immediate family in your household feels ill, or has a temperature over 100 degrees, we do ask that you refrain from bringing your athlete to the gym until your household is well. Our staff will be following these same wellness protocols.
We'll have the athletes come to the gym dressed in their leo, with whatever outer layer they are comfortable wearing.

We will have designated, spaced out areas, for them to put their outer layers/shoes and water bottles.  We will not be opening up the changing spaces inside the gym at this time.  The athletes will be training in smaller groups, and will be spaced out in their warm-up areas and at events.

Please contact DGA via email or request to drop thru the parent portal account.  A two week notice prior to the 1st of the month is required to drop a class. You are responsible for payment whether or not your student attends classes or until you notify DGA to drop your student from class(es).

Leotards and one piece swimsuits are appropriate attire for girls.  Boys may wear tucked in T-shirts and shorts. Hair should be pulled neatly and securely away from the face so that is stays up for the entire workout. Girls should not wear bows or other large hair ornaments that may cause discomfort during activity. Personal items should be left in the cubby holes. Jewelry should not be worn during classes. PLEASE LEAVE JEWELRY ARTICLES AT HOME. Dakota Gold Academy is not be responsible for any items that may be lost or stolen. Marking each child's personal items with their name is a good idea.

Be sure your student arrives 5 minutes before (no earlier please) his/her scheduled class time. Please pick up your student on time. Please inform us if you know you will be late picking up your student. Instruct your student to wait inside the building and you should escort them from the building to your car. During peak times the parking lot is crowded. Please take into consideration that our students may include young children. Please drive slowly and carefully. Do not take a chance on your student running to and from your car.
